In their continuing effort to steal the legacy of the real civil rights movement, homosexual activists and their allies posit an analogy between racism and “homophobia” — their smear term of choice to denigrate traditionalists. It is a deeply flawed comparison: what does unchangeable skin color and ethnicity have to do with aberrant, immoral and changeable sexual behavior?

Being lectured on intolerance by anti-Christian bigots like Tim Kincaid and Barney Frank — or run-of-the-mill leftist hate sites like Daily Kos — is like the USA being scolded for human rights violations by North Korea. If you think I jest, check out the hate-filled comments and vile anti-Christian insults that flow liberally on lesbian Pam Spaulding’s blog (try doing a search on “Jeebus” — a substitute for “Jesus” that secular snobs use to mock Christians).
Pam’s and Tim’s sites are further proof that nobody hates like the Left. And few on the Left hate like the homosexual activists (with radical pro-abortion-on-demand feminists a close second).

AssResistance is a dying organization. Since they don’t believe in death with dignity, it is amusing to see them writhe in the pain of their reactionary irrelevance and self-inflicted wounds.
They had this fundraising gimmick on their site - a bunker hill monument that they colored in as the donations came in. The only problem: they were getting very few and it stayed at an extremely low level for a long time and even that level was disproportionately shaded according to the amount and to their goal level. Eventually, even they had to recognize the pathetic and take it down. I still don’t think they have a radio show again yet.
The more they complain, the closer you must be to the truth.

I should remind folks that last year LaBarbera led a nationwide (unsuccessful) email and calling campaign to have me fired from my day job, which is completely unrelated to my work on the Blend. I am employed by a private university with an anti-discrimination policy — and naturally understands the First Amendment — so that derailed the effort, but what if I worked for a private company (or the state of NC for that matter) with a homophobic boss? I could easily have been canned for simply being out of the closet, never mind actively fighting bigots like LaBarbara from spreading disinformation and bigotry over the intertubes.

Isn’t it funny how homophobia can’t possibly be bigotry because teh gay is ‘changeable sexual behavior’ whereas it is completely possible to be an anti-Christian bigot, presumably because that’s inborn and unchangeable just like race.

It’s used to mock hypocritical Christianists who don’t understand any of Jesus’ messages (hence, the use of “Jeebus”) and are apparently unaware of Matthew 6.
