Should we assume from your seemingly more frequent travelling that you’re getting closer to being able to dump the 8-to-5 and support yourself with the site revenues? If so, congratulations!
Contrary to what some people might think, no, site revenues do not support me. Not even close. The only bloggers who make enough off site revenues to support themselves might be Markos and Atrios. And even with Atrios, he has a fellowship with Media Matters. This job is a labor of love and financially iffy, which I can tell is not a well-known fact.
MikeEss, I prefer to call joe by some of his other names: “wtf,” “nope,” “most of the people,” “anon,” “jerry,” “aren’t you being an anti-feminist,” and (my favorite) “J. Pierpont Flathead.” He’s left hundreds of comments here over the years, and every single one of his pseudonyms has been offended by Amanda.
Typical. There’s never a music snob around when you need one.
