Simply delightful! Thank you, Paul and friends.

I have recently entered into a cohabitation relationship with a feline friend named Oliver. It had been three years since the light of my life—a calico Tabby named Felicia—ascended to the heaviside layer. It took me that long to make another commitment. I'm glad I did.

"Cats, like engineers, are happy eating the same thing day after day after day..."

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry... guilty as charged, here.

Is it good to feed cats tuna? I used to leave tuna outside my door for the feral cats around my apartment, but somebody said that it was bad for them.

As sole sustenance, yes. As a treat, it isn't a problem. Most people feed theirs catfood grade tuna, which may/not have added vitamins. In any case, one can a week for three cats won't be an issue.

It's OK to feed cats tuna as a VERY occasional treat, but it is unhealthy to them as a regular part of their diet (it depletes certain vitamins, etc.)

I know several responsible cat owners who give their cats tuna every once in a while, as a treat.
