Boy, Dr. Laura is a one-trick pony, isn’t she? Once again, I have to wonder if I wouldn’t be able to cash the big checks if I just started blaming women for everything, especially their own victimization at the hands of others, and especially of men’s.

As long as you can sell some bogus “I saw the light on the road to Damascus” miracle conversion from your wicked ways, I would think it could be quite lucrative.
Just like Norma McCorvy’s 180 on abortion, Madalyn Murray O’Hair’s son William J. Murray’s turning his back on atheism, and David Horowitz’s claim to have rejected his wicked liberal ways to become a staunch conservative - imagine if a living poster for “radical feminazis” like Amanda Marcotte were to suddenly become a bible-thumping advocate for the subjugation of women to the Patriarchy.

Dr. Laura knows what she’s talking about. According to Wikipedia:
While working at USC, she met Dr. Lewis G. Bishop, who was married with dependent children. According to divorce filings, Schlessinger and Bishop began an affair. Bishop left his wife after more than 20 years of marriage, and moved in with Schlessinger. They lived together as an unmarried couple

That’s just crazy talk. Next thing you’ll tell me Rush is a drug addict, the surge isn’t working, and the economy is tanking…
Funny, this picture. I really can’t see a group of black menz with “nigger” on T-shirts. Maybe the pastor was right, that white privilege is the theme

k. I listen to gnarl’s newest album. (The Odd Couple)
As a whole the album follows similar theme, Soulful hip-hop. Danceable in some part, loungy in most part but slower than St. Elsewhere. Surprisingly mellower. If the first one is more hurried and urgent, ‘The Odd Couple’ is softer. It opens with somber tone of someone telling a story. (She knows - Who’s Gonna save my Soul) Second half picks up tempo with pieces like ‘Charity Case’, a classic Brooklyn beat. The entire album is meant to be listen as a whole more than a head bopper. This album is definitely made for Gnarls Barkley notoriously theatrical stage performance.
I personally don’t think the album is mindblowing. Last year El-P is a lovelier hip-hop work than this. But 2008 has been a downer so far. So anything goes. 3.5/5?
