In light of an earlier post over at my pad (I’ve included it below) on a white supremacist conference being held in Virginia this week and the racist threats and hatemongering about Obama reported by Hatewatch, this is mind blowing. How on earth could security halt a weapons screening of the attendees an hour before an Obama appearance in Dallas? Good god. (H/t to Sean Paul Kelley)

Security details at Barack Obama’s rally Wednesday stopped screening people for weapons at the front gates more than an hour before the Democratic presidential candidate took the stage at Reunion Arena.

The order to put down the metal detectors and stop checking purses and laptop bags came as a surprise to several Dallas police officers who said they believed it was a lapse in security.

Dallas Deputy Police Chief T.W. Lawrence, head of the Police Department’s homeland security and special operations divisions, said the order — apparently made by the U.S. Secret Service — was meant to speed up the long lines outside and fill the arena’s vacant seats before Obama came on.

“Sure,” said Lawrence, when asked if he was concerned by the great number of people who had gotten into the building without being checked. But, he added, the turnout of more than 17,000 people seemed to be a “friendly crowd.”

The Secret Service did not return a call from the Star-Telegram seeking comment.

Virginia: ‘Academic’ white supremacists gather at conference

Folks in the white supremacist camp are starting to really ratchet up the hate and fear machine as it looks like a Barack Obama nomination could become reality. From Hatewatch:

“OBAMA WILL DIE, KKK FOREVER,” concludes a Feb. 15 post by “Rodney” to a blog run by a person identified only as Strider333. Above that signoff, Rodney wrote: “The KKK or someone WILL assassinate Obama! If we get a NIGGER President all you NIGGER’s [sic] will think you’ve won and that the WHITE people will have to bow to you[.] FUCK THAT.”

On traditional white supremacist and neo-Nazi sites (for instance, here and here), there are lengthy discussion threads about what would happen if Obama were elected president. Dozens of those posts are derogatory and employ all kinds of racist slurs.

The benign-sounding American Renaissance Conference begins this week (Feb. 22-Feb. 24), located at the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport Hotel. It will be a gathering of “racial-realist thought” attendees, convening to discuss the fate of the white world.

More, including an update, below the fold.

In all parts of the world, whites are afraid to speak out in their own interests. Racial differences in IQ, the costs of “diversity,” the challenges of non-white immigration-politicians and the media dare not discuss what these things mean for whites and their civilization.

We are different. We believe these are vital questions.

This conference will be an opportunity to hear some of the most courageous academics, journalists, political figures, and scientists of our time discuss the forces that will determine our future. This will be a remarkable group of speakers and guests-undeceived, outspoken, and committed to the defense of Western Civilization.

These AmRen folks don’t like to be lumped in with the Neo-nazis and skinheads. They are too civilized for those lower-class folks. But you can be sure that the topic of a possible black president will be in the air in that hotel.

Resistance and Solidarity, a DC-based collective, plans to show up at the conference.

Area anti-fascists will march from Chandon Park (352 Juniper Ct., Herndon, VA) to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We will then converge at the hotel to protest, confront and disrupt the racist hate spouted by the AmRen National Conference.

The AmRen conference organizers call for a white supremacist society and political order. American Renaissance (AmRen) editor Jared Taylor states: “If whites permit themselves to be displaced, it is not just the high culture of the West that could disappear but such things as representative government, rule of law and freedom of speech, which whites usually get right and everyone else usually gets wrong.” Among past and present participants in this gathering are Klan member David Duke, Don Black, the operator of the white supremacist website Stormfront.org, former NY state prosecutor Michael Regan and Nick Griffin of the neo-fascist British National Party.

…” We will do our most to inform the hotel and demand that they cancel this gathering immediately. We also want the public to know that this event is not welcome here because this organization supports criminal policies and violence towards blacks, Latin American immigrants and other minorities in the region and the country,” he said.

Protest, sure. I see no reason to disrupt these fools; the world is turning browner and there isn’t a hell of a lot they can do about any of it.

UPDATE: There is a 500+ comment thread about the security issue over in a recommended diary at DKos, and perhaps the most interesting aspect about it is early on there is explicit banter about whether the diary should be on the recommended list, as if discussing the subject "aloud" is prudent. There is actually sane discussion downthread, including individual accounts of what kind of screening did or didn't occur at other Obama events people attended, as well as the level of Secret Service capacity for a landmark presidential race.

Tsk tsk-ing Jack Douglas of the Star-Telegram for reporting on the matter or calls to quash discussions in the blogosphere about the article gets to the heart of the true discomfort and fear people have — contemplating potential outcomes of a security breach. I think it's safe to say that screening tens of thousands of people at these rallies is a huge undertaking. It's newsworthy — and pretty easy to confirm if so many people were able to pass through without being screened in any way, shape or form.

I can't imagine what it would take for 17,000 people to be adequately screened, but that's for the professionals to evaluate. And that's precisely why it's a story if a law enforcement official at a large presidential candidate rally publicly questions how security was being handled to a reporter. Discussing it isn't going to stoke the crazies - they are out there, have always been out there, and the vitriol, not surprisingly, is rising.

Last month, Barack Obama discussed the security issues (and other matters) with Brian Williams in this video:

  1. What filthy fucking bastards they are. If the rest of us are lucky, the hate they carry around will just explode their tiny hearts.

  2. Yuri K.

I wonder why a white supremacist lives in Mexico.

  3. More people to be superior to there, I guess.

  4. You know, the whole time I was at work down the street from that rally, I was tense whenever I heard a siren. The symbolism of gunning a Democratic presidential hopeful down within sight of the Texas Book Depository is too tempting for racist assholes to not consider. I’m voting for him, but I kinda hope he doesn’t come back through town, for his safety’s sake.

  5. Grammar RWA

The Resistance and Solidarity mailing list mirror that you linked to has a comments section.

White supremacists showed up there. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such highly concentrated bile.

Most of the comments are truly, truly disgusting, very unlike the worst shit we see from trolls here, and I really must make this warning: if anyone here has a weak stomach or high blood pressure, it’s probably best to mosey on past.

I will excerpt my favorite comment for everyone’s pleasure:

Please realize that there are groups for any color , ethnicity and social status , and yet White People are forbidden to meet
as a group to discuss OUR issues… I hope that Ron Paul gets the vote for the presidency . He will right so many wrongs!

  6. This race is is getting uglier and weirder by the day. It feels like the US is regressing badly on all political fronts back to the 1930’s.

PS. Just picked up a graphic novel called “Incognegro” today. Noir style book about an African-American who passes as white to report on lynchings in the south, inspired by the real-life actions of Walter F. White.

  7. I see no reason to disrupt these fools; the world is turning browner and there isn’t a hell of a lot they can do about any of it.

Exactly. Let them play Canute if they want. At the least it keeps them occupied.

  8. Molly, NYC

I confess, it hadn’t occurred to me to worry about this sort of thing until I read Lower Manhattanite’s post on this subject.

It’s particularly worrisome that the Secret Service guys are ones who decided to dumb down security. There’s nothing I’d put past this administration–AKA Obama’s Secret Service detail’s employers.

  9. I have a horrible feeling that this is going to end so very, very badly.

  10. Oh, dear GOD, one of those speakers is a professor at UWO. *boggles*

  11. Marichiweu

Yeah, Rushton’s famous. His work was the psychotic base for the even-more-famous The Bell Curve back in ‘94. A fair amount of his truly batsh*t evolutionary psychology has to do with penis size - that is, “negroids” can’t have evolved large and sophisticated brains because they were busy evolving oversized peckers. This event is not the lowest he has sunk, and yet he’s still got the ear of alleged humans in the Republican Party.

  12. That’s why he should choose Hillary Clinton as his VP. The crazies would be paralyzed trying to decide who to kill first.

  13. idiosynchronic, The Unhip CArbonated Beverage

It’s particularly worrisome that the Secret Service guys are ones who decided to dumb down security. There’s nothing I’d put past this administration–AKA Obama’s Secret Service detail’s employers.

Except there’s a real pride-in-work thing within the Secret Service. While the Bushies have politicized much of the Federal bureaucracy in the last 7 years, I don’t think that the Service in the Treasury Dept. has been affected. And the candidates and Presidents that the Service protect usually go to great lengths to have good relations with their security details.

I’ve read Lower Manhattanite’s post too - and the man’s got a point that I shared that night. Barack, the man, looked incredibily vulnerable even though he was delivering one of the most powerful speeches in recent history. Watching the Iowa crowd, even knowing the residents of this state . . it wasn’t reassuring. In a place where the racists are more more likely to be confrontational and packing, Obama could wind up as a dead man.

  14. Oh Dammit, Dulles, that’s near me. The last time the nut brigade held a hate meet it was in Herndon.

Thanks for including the action link! Always happy to help fight people like this.

  15. Does Resistance and Solidarity have a website, or any more info on the protest?

  16. Molly, NYC

Except there’s a real pride-in-work thing within the Secret Service.

From your keyboard to God’s monitor, but they are still the ones who called off the weapons check, and they still work for the Bush Administration.

  17. Psychobunny

Well, shit. There go my plans to do a Masters at the University of Western Ontario.

  18. Grammar RWA

No website, Dan, at least not one that is operational at this time. But I’ll bet if you show up outside the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport Hotel on Saturday, you won’t be able to miss them.

  19. Please realize that there are groups for any color, ethnicity and social status, and yet White People are forbidden to meet as a group to discuss OUR issues.

This guy has a point. We white people need to organize, meet and discuss the issues that matter to us. Denis Leary can be our leader.

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=Kkg0WLj7TJ8

After we’ve got that sorted out we can move onto dealing with the Wii shortage and lobbying for fewer toys in lesbo vids.

  20. Psychobunny, it’s a good school but Rushton has tenure and it’s next to damned impossible to get rid of somebody with tenure absent a nine year old, a sheep and a videotape.

  21. Kerlyssa

idio: They aren’t part of the Treasury department anymore. Homeland now.

  22. FYI, American Renaissance is connected with the Regnerys as well:

American Prospect article on AmRen and their editorial overlap with the Regnery-founded Occidental Quarterly, which has more anti-Semitic content.

    SPL on AmRen

Also FYI, the “racial realist” dodge is a very old one in the conservative movement (I figured it out only when people I thought weren’t racist b/c they said so, started defending The Bell Curve when it came out) - it’s a form of mental reservation by which cons young and old can say “I’m not a racist!” (ie I’m just a REALIST and it’s REALISTIC to say whites are superior and segregation is good!)

  23. I remember being extremely worried, BTW, at the low level of security at an outdoor rally for Edwards where I was volunteering in the last presidential election - there were five nearby tall buildings with lots of warrenlike halls and alcoves that I was familiar with, including a library (!) overlooking the park and no sign of anyone monitoring them at all. I mentioned my concerns to the security people, and they just shrugged - but I *worked* and took classes in a couple of those buildings and knew just how easy it was to get up to the top of them w/o staff knowing. Nothing happened, of course, but I was kind of dismayed by the blase attitude - just b/c it’s a small town doesn’t mean it isn’t easy to get to here in Manchester.

  24. Thanks for bringing these 2 posts over from the Blend and expanding upon, Pam. I read these yesterday and was just floored.

When he was in Bangor (essentially my hometown) a few weeks ago, they SCOURED every inch of the old Auditorium before he arrived. from the airport there is a matter of minutes, but security was TIGHT. We’re a small state, but nutters are everywhere, and Good Biscuit knows, many folks have hunting rifles up here.

This story, in DALLAS of all places, is jaw-dropping and chilling. My first time in Dallas 20 years ago, I went to that area and it was overwhelming to imagine the shock, fear, anger and anguish. It’s one thing to see the grainy black and white camera images; it’s another to have lived it- I pray we don’t ever experience it.

    ——————————————————-

I’m giving up my 24 year seat on the Independent fence today, going down to the town office in below zero wind chills, and registering Democrat today. Thanks, Pam.

  25. Why do I get the feeling that those “experts” are really just one guy putting on different disguises?

  26. I’m old enough to remember the three biggest assassinations of the last 50-years: JFK, MLK, and RFK.

Between those events and constant exposure (as a stateside civilian) to the Vietnam war, it was a lot to take growing up.

I have a constant, simmering fear that Obama will get hit. And no faith in the institutions of government to do anything substantive to stop it.

The current situation reminds me too much of the callousness that lead directly to those infamous deaths. I think especially of Dr. King’s death and the way the FBI actively avoided obvious precautions that should have been taken to help protect his life - all because Hoover personally hated Dr. King.

Among many of the Bushites who have filled the ranks of government service since the Commander In Thief took office, I can’t imagine there are many who have any great love for a black man “arrogant” enough to seek to rise above “his station” and attempt to become president. And I can’t imagine they would do too much to stop a tragedy from occurring.

Given the “natural” level of crazies in the US, especially race-obsessed crazies…it’s all too easy to see the great possibility of another tragic and senseless death…

I hope to Ceiling Cat I’m completely wrong about this…

  27. Fred Reed looks like he starts every morning saying, “I love the smell of Napalm in the morning.”

On topic - Can this get any scarier? I hope not. Great Cat, I hope not.

  28. Flamethorn

    eh, screw it. Carlin/Leary 08!

  29. Ummm…Nancy, concubine to St Reagan, chose her SS detail based on height, whiteness, and physical attractiveness. We called them the “model squad” and joked that Hollywood was missing a few good-looking men. I would put absolutely nothing beyond the desires of Bush/Cheney. The AG should give you-all a shiver of cold fear.

  30. Except there’s a real pride-in-work thing within the Secret Service. While the Bushies have politicized much of the Federal bureaucracy in the last 7 years, I don’t think that the Service in the Treasury Dept. has been affected.

The politicization of the Secret Service started well before Bush II took office. Don’t you remember all of the stories about the Clintons that were leaked by the Secret Service?

If the Secret Service has to choose between protecting a Democratic candidate (or president) and getting the Republicans in power, they’ll pick the Republicans every. single. time.

  31. Godmonkey

    MikeEss,

Dude, it was probably the feds who killed him. It almost certainly wasn’t that hillbilly drifter fella.

  32. “Dude, it was probably the feds who killed him.”

Given what we have learned about the incredible depths of fear and hatred many establishment figures had for Dr. King, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

After all, who going to miss one more uppity negro stirring up trouble…

  33. I recapped with more thoughts at my pad..

Maybe folks will pay attention to the Dallas Obama security breach now
(sarcasm - now that Drudge has deemed it a story)

  34. Ms. Kate

What I don’t get is the fear of the country being taken over by a minority estimated at only 10-15% of the population. For Blacks to take over on that scale wouldn’t just take a presidential election - it would take a colonial invasion, power play, and takeover on the level of a reverse apartheid! In other words, simply implausible.

Then there is the part where Obama is every bit as white as he is black …

Maybe they target Blacks because Hispanics and Brazillians come in too many colors for their tiny pea brains to manage to track?

  35. A guy who teaches Japanese, a guy who lives in Mexico, and a guy who spent 30 years in Africa voluntarily? Sound like some really bad White supremacists to me (unless by Africa he means “South Africa during apartheid,” at which point that guy may be given a pass).

Also, Fred Reed’s picture made me literally LOL.

  36. Mnemosyne

What I don’t get is the fear of the country being taken over by a minority estimated at only 10-15% of the population.

Don’t forget, this is the same demographic that’s convinced that we will all be forced to Gay Marry by the homosexual conspiracy that’s about the same percentage of the population. Logic don’t work with these folks.

  37. “Don’t forget, this is the same demographic that’s convinced that we will all be forced to Gay Marry by the homosexual conspiracy that’s about the same percentage of the population.”

Wait a minute! I thought the Reconquista was going to turn America into Aztlan?

So what do we have to fear the most - Blacks, Gays, or Latinos?

  38. So what do we have to fear the most - Blacks, Gays, or Latinos?

What we need to worry about is them fusing into one Voltron-like superminorty — the Gablackatinos.

Then we’ll really be in trouble>

  39. Bitter Scribe

MikeEss, I don’t know if this will make you feel any better, but assassinations really are random affairs.

Richard Nixon, one of the most detested presidents in modern history, was never the target of any serious assassination attempt. Ditto (so far) for the current White House occupant, whose approval numbers are now even lower than Nixon’s.

On the other hand, Gerald Ford, the most innocuous empty suit ever to take up space in the Oval Office, was almost killed twice. Reagan, one of the most (incomprehensibly) beloved modern presidents, actually stopped a bullet.

All it takes is one madman, a gun and a certain amount of luck. You can’t predict that, any more than you can predict next week’s Lotto numbers.

  40. SS ,like any bureaucracy, has their rats in the wainscotting. It is just under St Reagan and Bushie that the rats had any say in matters. Most of the agents like saving the Prez and catching baddies. Only a few Christians are insane enough to void their duties.

  41. Bitter Scribe, of course you’re absolutely correct.

OTOH, I’m not sure that Nixon and Bush Jr. escaped being targeted by mere luck.

Just like the way the wingnuts get all upset about the “police state” when a Democrat is in office, but say not a word when their president is putting the actual police state into place in front of us all, there seems to either be some respect or professional courtesy that lets guys like them off.

    OTOH, Reagan…

And Obama DOES push a lot of buttons all at once…

  42. DivergentDana

“A guy who teaches Japanese, a guy who lives in Mexico, and a guy who spent 30 years in Africa voluntarily? Sound like some really bad White supremacists to me (unless by Africa he means “South Africa during apartheid,” at which point that guy may be given a pass).”

Awww… c’mon. They’re not “bad”, just “different.” Amren’s not only known for their pseudo-science, they’re also known for their unique brand of “softer” racism (now with 70% less Anti-Semitism!). Taylor uses his observations of life in Japan to argue that homogenous societies are higher-functioning and better for everyone… except black people, but according to him we’re f***ed by nature, anyway. Dude from Africa’s probably going to deliver some spiel about how he’s seen first hand that Negroids are too dumb to live adequately in their own resource-rich natural habitat, how fan-f***ingtastic everything was when Europe “stepped in”, how Africa is hopeless because it’s full of idiots and how everybody should stop sending money and let nature take its course. Oh, and he’ll probably throw in some stuff about anti-white sentiment & anti-white violence on the Dark continent. Reed’s probably there to add some levity — his style is more “irritated curmudgeon” than controversial academic. He believes in traditional gender roles and “the simple life”, so that’s probably why he lives in Mexico.

Plus, I just can’t stress enough how the “new thing” is that everyone else but blacks exist at varying levels of “okay”…better off separate, but still “okay.” Rushton and Taylor actually claim that Ashkenazim and East Asians are intellectually superior to everyone. That’s their dodge when anyone accuses them of white supremacy. Never mind that they also argue that East Asians are less creative and masculine, or that the Asian/White IQ gap is small enough to be “arguable” and much less talked about than the Black/White gap in their circles. Futhermore, it puts whites in the “Goldilocks” position. Blacks are too dumb and masculine, Asians are too feminine and calculating, but whites are “just right.” Granted, they’ll all run some game about how different doesn’t mean inferior, how different attributes are superior in different environments, but it just can’t be a coincidence that blacks as a group are deemed inherently, immutably, wholly unsuitable for and incompatible with just about every single standard for success in the modern world, according to their “studies”. Side note: Rushton looks disturbingly friendly and Mr. Rogers-esque in that photo.

  43. Bitter Scribe:

On the other hand, Gerald Ford, the most innocuous empty suit ever to take up space in the Oval Office, was almost killed twice. Reagan, one of the most (incomprehensibly) beloved modern presidents, actually stopped a bullet.

It’s important to note that the Reagan assassination attempt wasn’t motivated by politics in the slightest, and that Hinckley also stalked Carter when he was in office. Also, it’s hard to say that Squeaky Fromme’s attempt on Ford was directly connected to his politics.

  44. “Futhermore, it puts whites in the “Goldilocks” position. Blacks are too dumb and masculine, Asians are too feminine and calculating, but whites are “just right.””

I’ve never heard this interpretation. Great observation…

“Granted, they’ll all run some game about how different doesn’t mean inferior, how different attributes are superior in different environments, but it just can’t be a coincidence that blacks as a group are deemed inherently, immutably, wholly unsuitable for and incompatible with just about every single standard for success in the modern world, according to their “studies”.”

This falls in line with the bullshit about how there’s no more racism in the US. And if there “accidentally” WAS some racism here and there, it’s justified because “you know how THOSE people are…”

“Side note: Rushton looks disturbingly friendly and Mr. Rogers-esque in that photo.”

Sure! He’s not a bigot - just look at that innocent smiling (and white) face! He could be your next door neighbor! The guy who’ll watch your house for you while you’re on vacation! Etc. (And maybe the guy who puts on a blue uniform and beats the hell out of somebody for the hell of it - oh, sorry, he’ll just tase them mercilessly…)

DivergentDana, having been born into and raised in a family where none of my (very white) relatives have EVER been bigots (yeah, right), I’m all too familiar with that whole “See, I’m a nice guy!” dodge. It’s very easy for me to see and believe the smile hides some really ugly stuff…

  45. Ben

If the unthinkable happens just hope it isn’t a Muslim crazy (which is possible also). They’ll probably use it as an excuse to start a war with Iran or Syria.

  46. Ms. Kate

What we need to worry about is them fusing into one Voltron-like superminorty — the Gablackatinos.

Oh noes - the worst of all worlds! They’re angry, they’re outbreeding us, and they are far too fabulous!

  47. Wait a minute! I thought the Reconquista was going to turn America into Aztlan?

I’m pretty sure “Reconquista” is the Ay-rabs conquering Eurabia, Mike. Isn’t the Evil Mexican Horde heading north referred to as “mongrelization”?

But, you know, take it from someone who lives in a country where miscegenation is a fact of life - it’s absolute hell. You hae no idea how terrible it is. Why, our crayon sets have dropped “flesh” colour entirely…

  48. “Isn’t the Evil Mexican Horde heading north referred to as “mongrelization”?”"

It may be referred to that way, but as a resident of a state that was forcefully wrested from Mexican control back in the day (California), I’ve heard mutterings about the Reconquista and Aztlan my whole life.

The difference between most residents of California and a nutjob like Lou Dobbs is we don’t actually believe there’s an actual organized plot to take California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas back into the motherland.

But the political value of those words and ideas has kept one hell of a lot of rightwing politicians in office…

The Eurabia thing is another exaggerated myth altogether…

As far as “miscegenation” (a word I really hate to use), the large influence of Latinos makes having mixed parentage pretty common. And since most of the Latinos in California can trace their roots to Mexico, where there has been and still is a lot of Native American influence and genes, its pretty interesting.

On the coast there are also large and vibrant Asian communities, and a lot of mixing goes on there too.

So many of us are pretty mongrelized from the get-go. (I’m primarily European, with a dash of Native American for extra flavor…)

  49. BTW, I know a little about the influence of the Maoris in NZ, but perhaps you can some firsthand experience?…

  50. we don’t actually believe there’s an actual organized plot to take California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas back into the motherland.

Oh, but it doesn’t matter if there is, Mike! As our AmRen friends have shown us, the brown folk are unsuited to maintaining the Western success of those states, so they will fall back to whitey eventually, even without reverse outbreeding.

Well, unless they convince the Asians to maintain the mainframes for them…then there may be a delay in the collapse of Aztlan.

God, even snarking about these people makes me ill. I do love “angry, out breeding, and far too fabulous”, though.

  51. zombiez,

A guy who teaches Japanese, a guy who lives in Mexico, and a guy who spent 30 years in Africa voluntarily? Sound like some really bad White supremacists to me (unless by Africa he means “South Africa during apartheid,” at which point that guy may be given a pass).

A disappointing comment. How would any of this determine what the speaker will talk about? Why is living somewhere incompatible with seeing the inhabitants as inferior? Think of colonization, for instance, and the European’s attitude and actions towards Native Americans.

  52. Bitter Scribe

Dan: That was exactly my point. Most if not all assassination attempts aren’t motivated by politics, at least in any rational sense of the term. That’s why they’re random events.

  53. BTW, I know a little about the influence of the Maoris in NZ, but perhaps you can some firsthand experience?…

    Que?

That’s really a difficult thing to describe. Biculturalism is, well, just there. And not there. But Maori/Pakeha relations can’t be compared to, say, African American/European American relations in the States; the history and context is just, different.

You could try getting ahold of James Belich’s _Making Peoples_, a very readable book.

  54. I’m pretty sure “Reconquista” is the Ay-rabs conquering Eurabia, Mike.

It’s the other way around, actually. “Reconquista” is the historical period where the christians wiped the muslims out if the Iberian peninsula.

  55. “Reconquista” is the historical period where the christians wiped the muslims out if the Iberian peninsula.

Yeah, I did know that. I was just trying to point at silly wingnut obsessions globally.
