Huckabee’s pro-open borders extremism pisses me off the most. Finally, a politician that wants to legislate straight from the bible comes to bite conservatives in the ass. As a conservative, I have to say to you liberals: you were right. Keep ultra-religious nuts the hell away from the presidency.

Atomic, I don’t want to rehash the ’90’s, but suffice to say that if we compared Clinton and Bush, statement-by-statement, lie-by-lie, Bush would have The Clenis beat by a mile.

Oh, sure, George W. has done his best to make every part of the political spectrum except the most partisan Republicans long for his predecessors.

There are conservatives, especially fiscal conservatives, that think Clinton was a really good President in retrospect because of the last six years. During the 90s they were cursing him out.

I’ve also heard liberals tell me how competent George Sr. was in foreign policy. In 1991, they were complaining about what a warmonger he was.

I’ve had my own liberal Democrat parents long for Richard Nixon, in the 70s I’m sure they thought he was a petty tyrant.

See! The fact that we can’t determine that he did something naughty is PROOF that he’s guilty!

Um I think he did have sex in the oval office and subsequently lied about it under oath, which enabled Bush to talk about “restoring honor” or whatever to the Presidency. If that hadn’t happened, Gore would have won the election in a landslide.

However, in 1999, who’d have thought that a draft-dodging business failure who got his kicks out of blowing up frogs with firecrackers would end up spending the next eight years in the White House??

If his last name was “McDicker” instead of “Bush” it would have never happened.

Also, Bill Clinton keeping his pecker in his pants would have helped.

It’d behoove us not to get too complacent about the apparent unelectability of such people as Huckabee. Sigh. Likewise, in 1979, who’d have thought that a senile B-grade movie actor would manage to spend the next eight years in the White House?? Geez.

Hes not gonna make it past Iowa and New Hampshire even if he wins both.

I’d be more worried about Benito Giuliani. Huckabee victories help him even more than they help Huckabee.
