Maybe God disapproves of the real estate prices? Because there’s been plenty of property damage, but teh gays and teh gay-tolerant seem to be escaping harm. Out of 500,000 + people there would seem sure to be more gays than even people on the injured list so far.

Another note from another San Diegan:

These fires have torched primarily the rural areas of the county. And also, there are about SIX OF THEM. This is just FOUR YEARS from the last time there was a huge set of multiple fires, dubbed “Firestorm 2003″ by the local media. And this set of fires, according to firefighters, is MUCH worse.

It has destroyed hundreds, going on over a thousand homes. It has destroyed farms, groves of avacado trees (a lucrative source of local income), and livestock. People’s LIVES have been DESTROYED, and the largest of these fires are, last time I checked, LESS THAN 30% CONTAINED.

And this fucker is going on about how it’s what, because we “let” a gay community exist? A SINGLE community in a county of millions? Even assuming there was something WRONG with being tolerant of sexual orientation, the fact that this man is using our tragedy to further his agenda of hate is INFURIATING.

And the most affected communities are the most conservative communities of the most conservative county of California.

Truly, logic does not prevail.

For some reason, brush fires have always largely spared Portland and Seattle. Is he saying those cities aren’t gay enough to incur God’s wrath?

Well, he isn’t done teaching a lesson to the marginally faithful conservative Eastern parts of those states. That must be it …

(and I really can’t believe that I can joke about this! Wow, it took 35 years …)
