It serves as a reminder of how the parties have traded places in modern times, since it shows jackass Andrew Jackson trampling the interests of common citizens in the form of chickens, accompanied by what seems to have been a then-common adage, "Everyone look out for himself, as the donkey said while he danced among the chickens."
