Excuse me!?

God didn’t make Steve? And that’s the crux of it. Religious gay-bashers don’t see gays as having been made in God’s image. Really? Hypocrites and haters.

The Alabama Republican Legislative Committee in 2005 paid Strategum $3,144.06 to print a flier that accused a Democratic candidate for the House of Representatives of supporting gay marriage.

The flier depicted two smiling men on a porch holding hands with the caption: “Let Gloria Dolbare know God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!”

Still on the “Adam and Steve” nonsense? There are 7 colors in a rainbow, and 64 colors in a box of crayons. Is Crayola ripping us off? The idea that there are two genders and no more is as much a human construct as Roy G. Biv; and you have to think that God must be stupid (in Divine terms) to have a mind as little as these bozos.

Broke his neck falling down stairs? I have no doubts that’s true, but I’d like to note that one can break one’s neck falling down stairs because there’s a noose or equivalent around it.

(NB: No, I’m not saying “so this really *is* a suicide”. I’m saying it *could* be, and it could still factually be reported as it was. There’s an old gag about how, if you’re murdered by a spy organization, the cause of death will be “heart failure”, because you can describe any death as heart failure.)

Hm, wasn’t there a recent report (maybe last week) of a R Representative found dead in his (?) Washington DC home. If I recall correctly, suicide was suspected.
