I just watched most of the debate. There was no gay-bashing and no discussion of the Bible, although a few Scriptures were quoted at appropriate points relative to the differing perspectives of the candidates. A lot was said by Ron Paul about protecting civil liberties and walking in love, peace, and forgiveness towards our enemies, when asked what he would do about radical Islam.

I would have loved to see the Dems tear up the Christofascists.

They wouldn't have, though. They would have kissed ass.

Wealthy males may have concubines. Now if they happen to be wide stancers they can always be called their scout troop.

It gets better. Why aren't the top four GOP candidates showing up for the "Values" debate? Because they're already committed to the CNN/YouTube Republican debate the same night.

Isn’t the current governor of Florida a closeted gay person?

Well, allegedly. But, you know, he was married once (for three months, in the '70s), and he has a "lady friend" from Palm Beach whom he "squires around" on occasion and, oh yeah, it's okay because he's a Republican.

I found a list of great questions, here's just one:

1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

Re: the anti-spam text -- two things.

One, my man Roger Johansson happens to have addressed the accessibility problems of CAPTCHA just today. It's a good discussion that bears much consideration. (I'll note, per ThomasT's comment, that Johansson rejects reCaptcha, because it has its own accessibility obstacle.)

Two, I'm pretty sure you can avoid the spam trap altogether if you register. I know I haven't been asked to retype the distorted letters since Pandagon's first days at Blogsome.

Oh, it gets better. Moonbat Janet had Stephen Bennett on her show today and they were both just giddy with excitement! You see, ol' Steph is going to be at the summit and is going to ask the candidates a question. Not just any question, but a SECRET question that they wouldn't even say on the air!
And on a lighter note: Moonbat Janet has been threatening to have empty podiums at the summit for those candidates who don't show up and they just might ask the empty podiums questions!

I might just have to watch this shit!
