Hey, everyone remember the posts about New Orleans and how the survivors of Katrina are getting screwed left right and center? Remember Leigh, who gave a lot of good information? Well, she will be one of the people speaking about the post-Katrina Gulf Coast recovery tonight at The Democracy Center from 6:00-8:00. The center is located at 45 Mt. Auburn Street Cambridge, MA.

I have a rehearsal, sadly. Too bad, that’s not far from me at all.
Thanks Sheelzebub for the shout-out (shameless self promotion on my part!). We had about 60 pp there, no kidding, and it was a great discussion.
My work has expanded to incl. organizing and movement building across the Gulf Coast, and I am learning an intense amount this summer, and the anniversary is one week from today!
Here’s hoping another convo about GC recovery and racial and economic justice w/the Pandagon intelligentsia is in the near future!
