Can you imagine a week floating at sea with this crowd?

Join Joseph Farah, Elizabeth Farah, David Kupelian and other WND celebrity guests, Jan. 6-13, as they seek to answer the tough questions that face America during WND’s inaugural cruise event, “Taking America Back.” During seven luxurious days in the eastern Caribbean, you will enjoy and engage your favorite WND authors on a daily basis during intense sessions and moderated discussion groups among like-minded patriots.

The internal challenge, just as serious if not more so, is a cultural conflict over worldviews with the vestige of the Christian culture that shaped American history under siege from ultra-secularism, multiculturalism and moral relativism.

Is America doomed?

Is there a way to reverse course?

Can America emerge triumphant, again, as it has so often throughout its history?

Can we let these folks drift out to sea permanently?

The Sovereign Christian Cruises “event” will set you back $640.

  1. Isn’t $640 like super-cheap for a week-long Caribbean cruise? Can’t wait to see the pictures.

  2. I don’t think I’d want to be in international waters alone with these people. Perhaps they’ll stop by Haiti for some child sex, then on the Antigua for some banking . .

  3. Hungry Hungry Tauren

    Iceberg, dead ahead!

Wait, there aren’t any icebergs in the Caribbean? Drat…

    How about sea monsters?

Heh. The law of supply and demand obviously has a sense of humor.

If there were any time that I wished to have a submarine and an ice-making machine, it would be now….

(kudos Clarke and “The Tales From The White Hart”)

I have to wonder if they are “Taking America Back … to the Triangular Trade Economy” with this Carribean jaunt. Perhaps a molasses for rum trade is subsidizing the voyage?

  7. Is there some sort of badge or chevron I can get for being an “ultra-secularist?”

  8. Anne

What the hell is “ultra-secularism,” anyway?

  9. MAJeff

What the hell is “ultra-secularism, anyway?

    Guilt-free sex.

  10. Bring plenty of Gravol.

  11. “[V]estiges of … Christian culture” describes them fairly well. They aren’t christians, they’re practicing an informal folk religion dressed up in vestiges of Christian culture.

Robert Ingersoll said he wanted to build a new secular civilization “on the rotting corpse of Christianity”. That was a hundred years ago, before these guys reduced the corpse to vestiges.

  12. I vote MAJeff wins the internets.

  13. Who are these people? I’ve never heard of any of them. I guess that’s pretty cheap for a cruise, though. Cheapest on this one is around $2,000, and the lower priced cabins are already sold out. But look at that lineup! If I lived in the east I would do it.

I wonder whether they toss you overboard if you disagree. How else will they enforce WND-style conformity?

  15. Samantha Vimes

Wait until the Black Pearl opens cannon fire.

  16. Artaud

Damn, that is a cheap cruise. If I had the time available I’d be on that! Hopefully the god squad wouldn’t mind that I’d bring my gf too and be making some hot lesbo action aboard their ship!

  17. If one wants to suffer massive nausia, nothing beats a cruise, the combination of the gentle tilting of the decks with the exuberance of the viral stowaways from the other guests is truly effective. But now we have a way to induce nausia by just reading about a cruise. Hope they booked on the Titanic.

  18. Are they sailing through the Bermuda Triangle?

I wonder if each room (conference and cabin) is equipped with an hypnosis sprial

It is, indeed, seriously cheap for a week-long cruise. In my experience, grabbing a really good deal would leave you paying about $800 for a basic stateroom (double occupancy). Prices go up from there. I wonder what it says about this group that their special-interest cruise is cheaper instead of more expensive. Oh, wait, the cruise line is “Sovereign Christian Cruises.” So maybe Jeebus is subsidizing the drinks on this one? Believe me when i say no one’s every heard of this cruise line…probably for a very good reason.

I’m going to guess there’s not going to be any bethonged “vegas-style” shows on this one. Pity, that.

This sort of reminds me of Cal Thomas declaring a few years ago that America was so wicked that he would henceforth cease writing and speaking. Sadly, it didn’t take.

  21. $640 for a cruise to be homophobic? Not only is it highway robbery, it is a waste of our money. If I had to choose between spending $640 for a homophobic cruise or spend $1,280 for a Be an Ally and a Friend GLAAD cruise, I would shell out the $1,280.

    “Taking America Back
    Thats like stealing, right?

  23. Is it me, or do those discussion topics just sound really… depressing? “Is America Doomed?” These are my options? I’d rather see that dopey Broadway pastiche show they had on that Carnival cruise I went on… and believe me, getting my teeth drilled was better than that painful show. “Hey honey, let’s go to the Is America doomed discussion before our walk on the Lido deck.” Ick.

  24. scamps

“Taking America Back”? They ALREADY have it, AND they can’t be original about it!

“Is America Doomed?” Yes, if you come back.

I still don’t get why these asshats don’t create their own country if America is “soooooo terrible”.

    Hmmm….

I wonderr if there are any used U-Boats out there for sale?

Hell yes we’re on the wrong course and it’s the wing nuts that put us there. We’re the ones that need to take America back before these people complete their plan to turn it into a looney-tune-ocracy.

  27. feral

the poor crew. hope they all brought ear plugs.

  28. Dan

Well of course they would go on a cruise, they’re hoping for The Flood part deux.

  29. I wonder if the on-board movie will be “Even Almighty”

  30. ellenbrenna

“Ultra-secularism” is an album of Lords of Acid club hits remixed by Richard Dawkins to raise money for the ACLU.

Oh wait I am sorry that “Ultra-seXXXularism”

  31. Dunc

Just one well placed bomb…. ;)
