(Made a separate comment because the preview display can't deal with multiple links in the same comment, at least not in separate paragraphs.)

Actually, their entire poll archive is relevant; WND has just about replaced Reader's Digest as the microcosm of the reality-tunnel that believes (in the words of Joe Malik) that America has never fought an unjust war, that the hair of a seventh son of a seventh son cures warts, that anyone who gets rich must have done so through honesty and hard work, that a Jewish girl once got pregnant by a dove, and other superstitions (end paraphrase). For example, the four polls that follow the "If They Hate Me, They Will Hate You" poll linked to earlier: less than 10% of their readers copped to not reading the Bible and/or disbelief in biblical literalism, roughly two-thirds favor continuing the proposed boycott of Wal-Mart, 43.36% support Tom Tancredo as the GOP nominee for President in '08, and a whopping 61% agree with Tancredo that Bush wants to merge the US with Canada and Mexico.

Hew-mons scare me. Can I go live on a planet with intelligent life now, plzkthx?

Actually, the ID number for the poll in the URL is off by one; here's the link you wanted. (The poll you linked to is still relevant, however, as an example of the push polling Dorothy points out above.)

Religion is what the common people see as true, the wise people see as false, and the rulers see as useful.

I only wish they weren't of the world. Instead, they use religion as a marketing gimmick. Well, not all Christians, just the powerful ones. People only hate the powerful, hateful ones, like Pat Robertson. Christians who run homeless shelters and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity-- the ones who really act the way Christ would approve of-- are pretty popular.

Ivy wrote:

The whole thing reminds me of a cartoon I saw years ago. Guy lying on a couch in a psychiatrist’s office. The psychiatrist is saying, “My nurse has an interesting theory about you, Mr. Jones. She thinks you’re just an asshole.

Actually, what the psychiatrist would write in his or her notes about the conversation with the nurse is:

Axis II: R/O 301.81 Narcissistic Personality Disorder

I'm shocked that the most popular answer is the one I would have picked. Except for the hate part, since hating takes more energy than Christians are worth.

Because hardly anyone respects a hypocrite. Jesus certainly does not.

"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"
