What’s a blog for if not publically thanking people who lavish you with gifts? Thanks Norbizness for the End of the Century DVD and the Rock Snobs Dictionary. And a thousand thanks to Brian for the iPod! With all these gifts, I’m going to be launching into a new era of Insufferable Music Snobbery. But I promise that I’ll try not to best Pitchfork, not that I could even if I did try.

This is probably just a bit of fun gossip for you all. Very off topic, but also very funny.
Amanda Marcotte the webmaster for Pandagon.net and chief blogger is also the chief Financial Aid Officer at the University of Texas, MBA program. Amanda rants mostly about the “Patriarchy� keeping women down and other man-hater issues. I wouldn’t go after the asshole’s ip address. I doubt he’s done anything illegal. I’d just point out that he’s presumably either very privileged or a hypocrite. I doubt there are very many people who can afford the degree of ideological purity in their work lives that he seems to demand. I’d be surprised if there was nothing about his place of employment that he found objectionable, assuming he has to work for a living.
There’s not any kind of issue with my job, though I don’t think it’s up for debate. Most people wish they had an opportunity to help people for a living, which is what I do. But I’d really rather not have the two come in contact for lots of reasons.
Erm, feel free to delete that! It occurs to me that this isn’t the best place to discuss this.

I emptied my cache, closed the browser, opened the browser, hit refresh, and it was still there. However, I’m not planning on stalking/outing in public our fearless leader, so as long as no one else is experiencing this problem, I suppose it’s all good.
I can see it too, also using firefox, also purged by cache, still there.
